I Remember (Communion Song)
(c)2011 Bill Bledsoe ChurchThePeople.com
I remember
As You hand this bread to me
I remember
Your hands and Your feet
And the nails
Your broken body
Your shed blood
And Your cross
I remember how it feels to be lost
And what it cost
To save my soul
I know Your life was offered at Calvary
While mine was healed
Thank You Jesus for this meal
I remember
As You hand this cup to me
I remember
Your sweat and Your thorns
And Your wounds
Your broken body
Your shed blood
And Your cross
I remember what it means to be lost
And what it cost
To save my soul
I know Your heart was broken at Calvary
While mine was healed
Thank You Jesus for this meal
I came to You with a debt
That I could never pay
How could I ever doubt
What it means
To You
For me to be Your child?
I remember
That You're coming back for me
Just like You said
As surely as You rose up from the dead
I remember
That we'll share this meal again
One day in heaven
